VENZYMEL is a line of veterinary gels inspired by the human enzyme care product ENZYMEL. The Czech patented VENZYMEL products for cats and dogs, developed by the family-owned company Wald Pharmaceuticals, offer help where others cannot. They address the cause of inflammation in the oral cavity and support healing processes naturally using proteolytic enzymes.
It all started with the human products ENZYMEL. We followed the old medical advice that to heal, one needs to address the cause, not the effect. Merely suppressing symptoms leads to the risk of chronic inflammation. We were incredibly fortunate to grow up surrounded by curious, creative people and to be able to draw from a century-old family tradition and knowledge of chemistry, pharmacy, and medicine. In ENZYMEL products, we have utilized clinical experience with the systemic use of proteolytic enzymes in inflammation care.
When we discovered that the patented mixture of enzymes and the antiseptic chlorhexidine could help animals as well as humans, the production of VENZYMEL veterinary products was not far off. Thus, we can say without exaggeration that these are the first veterinary gels for animals that were tested on their owners.
Our goal is to address the cause, not the symptoms, and allow the organism to naturally regenerate.
